Listen to the Best Norma Jean Song in Eight Years

I really, really love the first two Norma Jean albums, Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child and O God, the Aftermath, but they’ve been on a downhill slope since then: Redeemer has a couple of okay songs on it, The Anti Mother is really boring, and I can’t even remember Merididanal.

But now the band has a released a new song, “Ahh! Shark Bite! Ahh!”, and while the bad news is it’s only five seconds long, the good news is, those five seconds sound more like Martyr/Aftermath-era Norma Jean than anything the band has made since. Hoo-ray for small victories.
