Oh My God, Ted Nugent is SUCH a STUPID REDNECK F*CKFACE
Can I safely assume that you all know who Rosa Parks was? Here, I’ll let Wikipedia give you a real quick history lesson on the off-chance that your name is John Holgado:
Rosa Louise McCauley Parks (February 4, 1913 – October 24, 2005) was an African-Americancivil rightsactivist, whom the U.S. Congress called “the first lady of civil rights”, and “the mother of the freedom movement”.
On December 1, 1955, in Montgomery, Alabama, Parks refused to obey bus driver James F. Blake‘s order that she give up her seat in the colored section to a white passenger, after the white section was filled. Parks was not the first person to resist bus segregation. Others had taken similar steps in the twentieth century, including Irene Morgan in 1946, Sarah Louise Keys in 1955, and Claudette Colvin nine months before Parks. NAACP organizers believed that Parks was the best candidate for seeing through a court challenge after her arrest for civil disobedience.
Parks’ act of defiance and the Montgomery Bus Boycott became important symbols of the modern Civil Rights Movement. She became an international icon of resistance to racial segregation. She organized and collaborated with civil rights leaders, including Edgar Nixon, president of the local chapter of the NAACP; and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a new minister in town who gained national prominence in the civil rights movement.
Got that? The key phrase is, “She became an international icon of resistance to racial segregation” (emphasis mine, duh). If there’s such a thing as Heaven, Rosa Parks is there.
Now here’s a quote the always-classy Ted Nugent gave to conservative website WND yesterday:
“There will come a time when the gun owners of America, the law-abiding gun owners of America, will be the Rosa Parks and we will sit down on the front seat of the bus, case closed.”
I mean HOLY SHIT, could he have thought of a more egregiously offensive, ignorant, and untrue comparison? “The law-abiding gun owners of America are like Jesus Christ — they’re dying for our sins,” perhaps? In what way are American gun owners being persecuted the way African-Americans were in the 1950s (or any other number of other decades… or centuries… sigh…)??? Have gun owners been told they need to use different water fountains from people who don’t own guns? Have the police ever fired live rounds into a crowd of pro-gun protestors? Lemme ask you this, Teddy: is there now, or has there ever been, someplace where I can go and legally purchase not a gun, but an actual gun-owner? CAN I PURCHASE TED NUGENT AND THEN WHIP THE EVER-LOVING SHIT OUT OF HIM???
Also worth noting: Rosa Parks’ protest was peaceful. Ted Nugent isn’t interested in peaceful protest, he tells WND:
“If it comes to the actual implementation of an actual confiscatory directive from our president, then I do believe that the heroes of the law enforcement will defy this order. I do believe that there are enough soulless sheep within our government who would act on such an illegal order but I believe the powers that be at the local, state, and regional law enforcement would halt such an illegal, anti-American order.”
This might be a new level of dumbfuckery, even for Ted Nugent. I can’t even call him “a piece of shit.” That’s insulting to shit. What did shit ever do other than leave your body because you don’t need it? And at least shit doesn’t talk and say ridiculously moronic things. It probably smells better than Ted, too. Perhaps someday shit will be the Rosa Parks and will sit down on the front of Ted Nugent’s face. Prick.
