“Youth Wasted:” The Bronx Channel Their Inner GN’R in New Song

Oh, The Bronx, how I missed thee and your Izzy Stradlin-on-meth blues punk n’ roll bliss while you were gone.

Just before 2012 came to a close we got “Ribcage,” the first new Bronx song in five years (their side project El Bronx Mariachi excepted) and today we get another new song called “Youth Wasted.” It’s everything you want from a new The Bronx song, with lilting, almost Torche-esque verse melody and a fiery, melancholic blues-rock refrain that’ll wedge itself firmly in your dome on first listen.
