Charges Against Harley Flanagan Dismissed

My headline probably tipped you off, but just to be clear: charges against former Cro-Mags bassist Harley Flanagan, stemming from allegedly stabbing two current members of the band this past July, have been dismissed. Flanagan has long asserted that he was acting in self-defense, which Cro-Mags vocalist John Joseph claims is a lie. But, legally speaking, at least, it is now a moot point; apparently the District Attorney’s office wasn’t able to put a case together, which seems pretty friggin’ weird, given that Flanagan’s alleged crime was said to have taken place in front of the entire VIP section of a live-show-in-progress. In other words, there should be a LOT of eye witnesses. Guess not! Maybe Flanagan really is innocent. Maybe the world really needs Batman. Who knows.
