Video: Eyehategod on the HBO Series Treme

In March, it was announced that sludge masters Eyehategod would appear on HBO’s critically acclaimed series about post-Katrina New Orleans, Treme; that episode finally aired recently, and you can watch video of the band’s appearance below.

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence, but this is the second time that an HBO program has featured an extreme music act this year, following Magrudergrind’s cameo on Veep back in May. This Eyehategod appearance is even better, though, because you can actually see the band, and their name and logo made it on camera (and Jimmy Bower wore a Down shirt to boot). But you know it’s all fictional because a cute girl is at an Eyehategod concert, and seems to totally approve of the dude she’s with ditching her so he can go crowd surf.

Still, maybe Krallice can appear on an episode of the next season of Girls or something.
