Horse the Band Announce World Tour!

Those calling for a Horse the Band reunion are in luck: the “synth-driven spastic art metal weirdos” are back at it for a world tour.

Unfortunately, if you live in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia or pretty much anywhere that MetalSucks is widely read and English is spoken as a first language, you’re out of luck.

Horse the band keyboardist “Lord Gold” (Erik Engstrom) reached out to MetalSucks directly to tell us that the band will be touring Central America in November and Japan in December. The dates look to be more of a vacation with some metal shows sprinkled in than a full-fledged tour. And that’s totally awesome: I can’t think of anything I’d rather do if I were in a successful band with a worldwide reputation than to take a couple of weeks of paid time-off from my day job to see unique corners of the planet and play a few metal shows. Here are the dates:

Nov 7 – Quezaltenango, Guatemala (house show)
Nov 9 – La Maga, Guatemala City
Nov 10 – Mute, Paseo el Carmen, San Salvador, El Salvador
Nov 15 – Art Cafe Bar, Managua, Nicaragua
Nov 17 – KOR Bar, San Jose, Costa Rica
Nov 18 – Teatro La Mama, Bogota, Colombia

Dec 19 – Studio Coast, Tokyo, Japan w/ Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas
Dec 21 – Shibuya Milkyway, Tokyo, Japan
