Take a Ride on Early Graves’ Red Horse
Perennial MetalSucks faves’ new album, Red Horse, comes out on Tuesday — but Brooklyn Vegan is streaming it right now, which means you can blast it at an obnoxiously loud volume all weekend long. That oughta shut your stupid neighbors’ stupid Halloween party right the fuck up.
In all seriousness: this is an important album for Early Graves, seeing as it’s their first with new vocalist John Strachan following the tragic death of Makh Daniels in 2010. But we’re happy to report that the band sounds as good as, and possibly better than, ever. Red Horse is exactly the kind of raw, unrelentingly vicious album we expect from these dudes.
Listen here. Red Horse comes out October 30 via No Sleep. And if you haven’t read it yet, check out the exclusive in-studio diary the band did for us while they were recording the album earlier this year.
