Jesus Has Not Helped Brian Welch Become a Better Songwriter

Former Korn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch apparently has a tattoo of Jesus on his hand to keep him from masturbating, but you’d hope the tattoo would also remind him not to pick up a guitar and make horrendous music.

No such luck: his band Love & Death have released a new single called “The Abandoning,” and it is, indeed, atrocious. That being said, there is something kind of genius about it, which is that it will immediately divide the world’s into two distinct, easily recognizable categories: people who think it’s terrible and people who are either related to or getting ten percent from Brian Welch.

By the way, that tattoo of the Iwo Jima photo with a crucifix instead of an American flag is so stupid that Ann Coulter is tweeting in its favor.
