BREAKING: BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME & PERIPHERY’S TOUR BUS CATCHES FIRE IN EUROPE
Between the Buried and Me and Periphery are currently on tour together in Europe, and early this morning, the tour bus the two bands have been sharing caught fire. (Ironically, The Safety Fire, who are also part of the trek, were not on the bus.)
Periphery guitarist Misha Mansoor described the event to us via e-mail:
“Luckily it was caught early by [Periphery guitarist] Jake Bowen and our driver, so all of us are safe and sound and so are our belongings. But it happened thirty minutes after leaving Southampton (England) this morning, and most everyone was fast asleep. [It was] a hell of a terrifying way to wake up haha! We had to run up this wet embankment in whatever we were wearing (which wasn’t much) while we watched the bus burn and waited for the fire brigade to arrive. Thankfully this happened on a day off, and since all of us are safe, this won’t affect the tour!”
