NEW CRADLE OF FILTH TRACK: “MANTICORE” MUST BE CODE FOR “GOATWHORE”

Tr00 metalheads are probably gonna want my nuts on a stick for this claim, but here it is: a large chunk of the new Cradle of Filth song reminds me a lot of Goatwhore. This must be what that guy Dummy Nosenothing meant when he said Cradle of Filth are switching genres on their new record.

And that’s a good thing, because I love Goatwhore and I’ve never really gotten into Cradle of Filth. The biggest difference here is the vocals, but if you threw Ben Falgoust into the vocal booth to record this song no one would ever know the difference if you tried to pass it off as a Goatwhore track:

In any case, I agree with Axl’s assessment that the new Cradle of Filth songs are “pretty good,” just like a box of Crispy Pops. Manticore comes out on October 30th via Nuclear Blast.
