1 DOWN – DOWN IV PART I-THE PURPLE EP
Last week: 12,080 (debut)

Down III: Over the Under debuted with 19k sold first week back in 2007. Still, a great number for the guys in Down, and it’s “only” an EP anyway with more on the way.

5 DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT – EPICLOUD
Last week: 4,103 (debut)

Addicted debuted with 3,754 in 2009 and Deconstruction debuted with 3,483 last year. So yeah, I’d say this is a win for Devin.

10 SAMBORA*RICHIE – AFTERMATH OF THE LOW
Last week: 2,515

No idea Richie Sambora had a new solo album and morbidly curious to hear it. Wonder if its inclusion in the “hard music” chart is based on legacy alone or reality. 

14 VISION OF DISORDER – CURSED REMAIN CURSED
Last week: 1,769 (debut)

Legendary Long Island hardcore pioneers Vision of Disorder are back in full effect. You’re moshing.

15 BECOMING THE ARCHETYPE – I AM
Last week: 1,687 (debut)

Celestial Completion debuted with 2,133 last year, so taking into account overall industry declines this number is probably in line with expectations.

26 RIVAL SONS – HEAD DOWN
Last week: 1,283 (debut)

46 PROJECTED – HUMAN
Last week: 704 (debut)

John Connelly and Vince Hornsby from Sevendust’s side project. It’s actually pretty good, anyone listened?
