“SHAME IN THE WAY”: LISTEN TO A NEW CONVERGE SONG RIGHT NOW!
Converge have unveiled “Shame in the Way,” another new song from their forthcoming All We Love We Leave Behind, and I think I like it even more than “Aimless Arrow,” the first song from Love to be released.
The difference between the two tracks is fairly simple: “Arrow” is much more of a hardcore song, and “Shame” owes a far larger debt to metal; it’s very much in line with Axe to Fall, which, as of right now, is one of my two favorite Converge releases (the other being Jane Doe, duh). It’s not that I don’t like “Arrow” — I do like it — it’s just that “Shame” is a more vicious song which makes me really fuck shit up.
Listen here, then weigh in with your thoughts below. All We Love We Leave Behind comes out October 9 on Epitaph.
