… then get a load of Lullaby Versions of Dream Theater, a new compilation of, duh, lullaby versions of Dream Theater songs. The compilation has been arranged by Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star, “the premier pop music lullaby line” (I guess there are other pop music lullaby lines?); the group has also released lullaby albums of songs by Motley Crue, Rush, Iron Maiden and others.

As someone who does not consider regular Dream Theater music to be sleepytime material (unabashed DT fanboy as I am), I find the concept pretty amusing. Definitely would buy as a gift for any friend of mine with small children. And would even listen to myself on those nights when I just can’t seem to fall asleep.

There aren’t any full songs available for streaming, but the 0:30 samples on Amazon sound… very lullaby-ish, barely even recognizable as Dream Theater songs.
