NAZIS FINALLY PAY GEDDY LEE’S FAMILY REPARATIONS
A new commercial for the Volkswagen Passat utilizes Rush’s “Fly by Night,” presumably because Rush’s fanbase is now primarily people who might buy a Volkswagen Passat. I eagerly await the day, twenty or so years from now, when Ex-Lax commercials feature “YYZ.”
I will say the one thing that I kinda love about this commercial: Geddy Lee’s parents were Jewish refugees who survived multiple concentration camps during World War II, and now a company that was founded by Nazis had to pay them a lot of money. Maybe there is such a thing as karma.
