CLIFF BURTON’S SOLO BASS TRACK FROM “ORION” IS A THING OF GREAT BEAUTY

Speaking of Metallica: someone went ahead and isolated Cliff Burton’s bass track from the Master of Puppets classic “Orion,” possibly by ripping it from the video game Guitar Hero: Metallica; you can check it out below. Everything about Burton’s playing is goddamn great, and his tone is fantastic, too; I’m not even a bass nerd or anything and I thought this was just awesome. Check it out:
