BEHIND THE SCENES OF SYLOSIS’ NEW ALBUM MONOLITH
There’s a reason that U.K. metallers Sylosis, above a hundred other bands, were chosen to open for Lamb of God on their recently announced U.S. fall tour: LoG drummer Chris Adler loves the shit out of the band and hand-picked them for the tour. And with good reason: Sylosis GET IT in every sense of that phrase, and they’re one of just a few modern modetal bands that push themselves forward with every successive album.
Their upcoming album Monolith is no exception — it’s an absolute ripper! Two full songs have been released so far: “A Dying Vine” (at the band’s official website) and “Born Anew” via their Facebook page (“Like” required). As is par for the course these days they’ve been releasing studio videos chronicling the recording of Monolith, and as is also par for the course these days the clips of new music contained therein are easily the best part.
