BECOMING THE ARCHETYPE BEND TIME, GET DOWN WITH FRANK MILLER

Becoming the Archetype have released a new video for their song “The Time Bender,” and the obvious influence is the Robert Rodriguez/Frank Miller cinematic adaptation of Miller’s Sin City. Only this is better than the Sin City movie, because the director wasn’t a lazy fuck who decided to recreate a comic book panel-for-panel without any consideration for the differences between the two mediums, thus assuming that watching someone driving under voice over for five minutes would be interesting. Alas, there’s no Jessica Alba pole dancing, but you can’t win ’em all.

“The Time Bender” appears on BTA’s new album, I Am, comes out September 18 on Solid State.
