3 Inches of Blood have released a video for their song “Leather Lord,” and no, that’s not it above. That’s it below, though:

So I really like 3IOB and I don’t mean to disparage them — I’m sure they had a wonderful day at the K-Mart “Make Your Own Music Video” booth — but how the hell do you release a video for a song called “Leather Lord” and have, like, no visible leather in it? The color palette for this clip shouldn’t be pastels — it should be dead animal skin, preferably black dead animal skin. I mean, am I alone here? Wouldn’t you expect this video to at least be about some dude getting whipped or something?

“Leather Lord” appears on 3IOB’s Long Live Heavy Metal, which is out now on Century, and which you should check out despite this dispiriting video.
