NEW DEFTONES ALBUM GETS TITLE, RELEASE DATE, HEADLINE TOUR
Deftones by Frank Maddocks
Early last month, awesome Deftones frontman Chino Moreno told awesome Entertainment Weekly that he expected an October 9 release date for his band’s awesome seventh album. Well, Moreno is a lying scumbag cuz this press release I just got announces that the set has been titled Koi No Yokan (“A Premonition of Love” in Japanese) and will really come out November 13. Yeah pfft awesome info, Chino. If that is your real name.
Okay u might think I’m overreacting, that Moreno deserves no guff for his prediction that’s early only by about five weeks, that the discrepancy is a relative eye-blink. Chill out Anso, u say, albums take time; then u explain that it’s all good cuz an awesome headline tour kicks off on that October 9! To that I reply, fine jerks, take his side. I research, I network, I report, I work work work but noooo nobody ever sticks up for me! When’s the last time u all got me flowers?
