INTO “THE EYES OF THE STORM” WITH BECOMING THE ARCHETYPE

You people are crazy! A lot of commenters complained that “Time Bender,” the new Becoming The Archetype track we posted last week, sounded like a different band than the one who recorded 2011’s Celestial Completion. Oh fine, technicalities — the band’s got a new vocalist, drummer and bassist this time around, which is no small deal — but to me “Time Bender” and today’s new track, “The Eyes of the Storm,” still sound very Becoming The Archetype-y . To be extra sure it’s not just me, I just re-watched the music video for Celestial Completion track “Magnetic Sky” — aka the BEST VIDEO EVER — and still, going from Point A to Point B really doesn’t seem like much of a stretch at all.
