There is no particular reason that a photo of any given rockstar buying groceries at a Japanese specialty store should be funny. But seeing as this one is of Glenn Danzig, it’s automatically FUCKING HILARIOUS! Ordinary photo + Danzig = pure gold. Works every time.

So. Jason Ellis Show personality Mike Tully tweeted the above picture of Danzig shopping at the same Japanese grocery store Tully shops at, presumably somewhere in/near Hollywood. That certainly looks like Danzig; check the trademark arm tattoo.

Glenn looks to be eyeing some kind of juice or drink. But inquiring minds would like to know what Danzig’s Japanese grocery list really includes: Nori seaweed? edamame? sashimi-grade fish cuts? Special Japanese kitty litter? Need moar info!!!
