VIDEO TO GET STONED TO OF THE DAY: MARILYN MANSON’S “SLO-MO-TION”

Marilyn Manson has released a video for the song “Slo-Mo-Tion,” and I’ll give you two guesses what effect the video uses extensively, although you’re only gonna need one. The thing is, Manson hasn’t lost his flair for the theatrical, and it seems like he and his collaborators actually put some effort into this video. As a result, there is a LOT of cool, druggy imagery in here. (And I’m sure Manson thinks that imagery has some profound meaning. I have no idea what that meaning is and at this point I don’t really care.)

Of course, there’s also a Marilyn Manson song. That doesn’t bother me — I actually think this song is okay if not great or anything — but if it bothers you, by all means, turn off the audio and crank some [insert your favorite weed band here] while you watch it.
