A NEW SONG FROM THE FACELESS: “DECONSECRATE”

Now that The Faceless’ new album Autotheism is finally out, let the arguing begin: was it worth the four year wait?

In this writer’s humble opinion, yes, it’s worth it and then some: Autotheism is a masterpiece. Check out new song “Deconsecrate” above, a track the band’s been playing live on their current Summer Slaughter stint that features a guest saxophone solo by Sergio “Sexy Sax Man” Flores. The song encapsulates pretty much everything that’s great about the album all in one place: orchestral arrangements, soulful clean vocals from Michael Keene, vintage Faceless riffing, and shred, all tied up into an impressively ambitious but still cohesive song structure. AKA it’s The Faceless: The Next Generation.
