ICP TO SUE FBI
So uh hey like remember back in September of ’09 when news got out that police in Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Utah all consider Juggalos to be a gang, just like the Bloods and the Crips? Well this past October, the FBI joined them. And that’s funny enough, but this is even funnier: at this past weekend’s Gathering of the Juggalos,, the Insane Clown Posse announced that “No matter what it costs, what it takes, we are as of right now officially suing the FBI.” In addition, they’ve launched a new website, Juggalos Fight Back, to help pay the legal funds of Ninjas who have been persecuted by the United States government. Here’s the page’s Jacoby & Meyers-commercial-quality mission statement:
“If you or someone you know have suffered any negative consequence with a governmental representative, including law enforcement, border patrol, airline security, or other local, state or federal governmental agency or employee as a result of your status as a Juggalo, we want to know about it.
“If you would like to share your experience and to have your situation reviewed by our legal team – at no charge to you – please fill out our short questionnaire.
“We want to show our appreciation and support for our fans and we are prepared to assist you in learning about your legal rights and to fight for you in Court, if possible. Please take the time to fill out the questionnaire so we can keep apprised of this situation and assist you in getting the legal help that you deserve as a Juggalo.”

That Juggalos are not a gang or a serious threat to anything besides intelligence and dignity is a position with which I actually concur. That being said, suing the FBI is… yeah, I dunno, good luck with that fellas! I’m one of ten Jews in the United States who didn’t go to legal or medical school, but I can’t really see there being much of a case there. That being said, I’d love to see this thing go all the way to the Supreme Court, just because that would be hilarious, wouldn’t it?
Now, insofar as the whole “legal help for our fans” thing goes, well… it’s hard to say anything negative about that, isn’t it? Of course, I’ll be curious to see if they actually pay anyone’s legal fees. This could just be a big PR stunt to entice weak minded folks into thinking ICP are “for the people.”
