LAMB OF GOD TO PLAY SLIPKNOT’S KNOTFEST; HOPE TO BEGIN U.S. TOUR IN OCTOBER
Well, that was fast! Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe has only just been released from jail — but the band is already making plans for their live return.
According to a statement from their publicist, Lamb of God will play Slipknot’s inaugural Knotfest (tickets) on August 17th in Council Bluffs, Iowa and August 18th in Somerset, Wisconsin. That’s just two weeks from now!!! And the shows are going to be streamed on the internet — so even if you can’t be there in person, you can watch Randy’s sure-to-be triumphant return to the stage. It is expected that the itinerary will be released shortly — as will a statement from Mr. Blythe himself, “discussing his time in Prague and thanking fans worldwide for their support.”
So, hoo-ray! All awesome things. We’ll bring you more news as soon as we get it.
