EVEN I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT THE STAGE SET-UP FOR METALLICA’S 3D MOVIE LOOKS INCREDIBLE
Later this month, Metallica will play two nights in Vancouver, with Predators director Nimrod Antal filming for the band’s upcoming 3D movie. And they’ve been warming up by playing a Chanukkah’s worth of nights in Mexico City, complete with the stage and effects they’re going to use for the movie.
Needless to say, they’re pulling out all the stops, and holy shit, this fan-compiled video looks like all those stops are totally amazing. Maybe not quite Rammstein-amazing, but still incredibly cool. If they let a different band use that set-up and hire a new director to film the show, they might actually have a pretty good movie on their hands!
