KRALLICE TO ROMAN NUMERALS: “F*CK YOURSELF”

Krallice have unveiled a new song from their forthcoming Years Past Matter, “IIIIIIII.” I don’t really know why it’s called “IIIIIIII” instead of “VIII” — Krallice don’t ever do anything the “normal” way, so I guess writing out the number eight should be no exception.

ANYWAY, the song rules, which is pretty much par for the course for Krallice. If anything, it actually strikes me as being one of the band’s more straightforward songs — it doesn’t sound like someone unleashed a wasp’s nest in my brain. That’s not to say it’s Gordon Lightfoot or whatever… oh, fuck it, just listen:
