MORE GOJIRA U.S. HEADLINE DATES APPEAR

UPDATE #2, 11:29am EDT, 8/2: An August 14th show has been confirmed for the Studio at Webster Hall, not the Music Hall of Williamsburg as previously rumored. Details here.

UPDATE, 5:06pm EDT: According to a press release from Roadrunner Records, Chicago and Milwaukee dates have been added, shown in bold below. Additionally, the Brooklyn show on August 14th was not listed; more on that when we find out.

A few more Gojira headlining dates have slipped out since two shows were announced yesterday in the wake of the Lamb of God / Dethklok tour cancelation for which they were scheduled as support.

It looks like Gojira done got themselves booked at Slipknot’s Knotfest in Wisconsin on August 18th, meaning they’ve now got a few more cities to connect between there and Heavy MTL/TO in Canada for their touring game of “connect the dots.” I’d expect to see a couple of more Midwest dates pop in the next few days.

And, oh hey, they’ve added another NYC show! This one’s in Brooklyn, but as the crow flies couldn’t be more than 2 miles from their previously announced show in Manhattan just five days earlier… ballsy move playing two shows in one market in the same week! I might just have to go to both.
