COURTNEY LOVE WANTS LANA DEL REY TO THINK ABOUT HER VAGINA

Lana Del Rey recently covered Nirvana’s classic “Heart Shaped Box” at a concert in Sydney, and, as you can imagine, this made Courtney Love very mad for no discernible reason. Courtney’s Tweets on the subject have since been deleted, but, oh hey, someone happened to get a screen shot before they were taken down so we can read them anyway:

I don’t think it’s a shock that the song “Heart Shaped Box” is about a vagina. But I do find it surprising that Courtney would gloat that the song was about her vagina, given that the lyrics aren’t exactly, y’know, positive; I don’t think I’m alone in assuming that the phrase “forever in debt to your priceless advice” was meant to be facetious.

In any case, after the jump is video of Del Rey’s performance, so you can judge if it’s really so terrible, or if Courtney is just being crazy. Which would be so unlike her!
