A FRAIL BECOMING: GET READY FOR THE FIRST DAYLIGHT DIES ALBUM IN FOUR YEARS

It’s been four years since the release of Daylight Dies’ last album, Lost to the Living, but it feels like it’s been twice as long. Maybe it’s all the horrible deathcore people send us, I dunno. In any case, I was thrilled to hear that their new offering,  A Frail Becoming, will be released on October 9 via Candlelight Records.

Here’s a statement on the release from drummer Jesse Haff:

“A Frail Becoming is an album which, at many times during its creation, felt as if it may never be realized. As each of our lives proceeded down different paths, the challenges and obstacles we faced felt daunting and at times impassible. Out of this struggle we forged ahead, determined to write the best collection of music we’ve ever created. Thankfully our perseverance prevailed and A Frail Becoming stands as the most accomplished and varied album of our career.”

This has to be one of my most anticipated albums of the year. Now all the band needs to do is live up to my expectations!
