CARVE MY CROSS INTO THE SCORNSTAR: ARSIS DRUMMER UNVEILS NOT ONE BUT TWO NEW SONGS!

From the “How Did We All Miss This?” files: Shawn Priest, who is the new-old drummer in Arsis following the departure of former-once again skinsman Mike Van Dyne this past April, has uploaded videos of rough drums for not one but two new Arsis songs, entitled “Scornstar” and “Carve My Cross” (fret not, you can hear the guitars n’ stuff in the videos, too). The clips have been on Priest’s YouTube page since May, but we weren’t aware of them until an anonymous reader tipped us off this morning.

Obviously, this isn’t the optimal way to experience new Arsis music — but both songs sound really, really promising. Not surprising, since Arsis albums are better than others, but all Arsis albums are good.
