PATHOLOGY PREPARE FOR A TIME OF GREAT SLAMZ

Our friend Sergeant D. has influenced me in many ways, one of which is the fact that I now consider myself a fan of Pathology, a band I can’t imagine I would have given a shit about even just a few years ago. But there ya have it: I really do WANT to hear The Time of Great Purification, the new release the band has just announced. I mean the title sounds like a reference to genocide and I still wanna hear it. And doubly so after seeing Par Olofsson‘s delightfully silly album art, which for some reason immediately made me wanna sit down and watch some Jeffrey Combs classics:

The Time of Great Purification comes out September 25 on leading independent music retailer VICTORY RECORDS. Hopefully we’ll get to hear some new slamz real soon.
