#FREERANDYBLYTHE NEWS ROUND-UP: JAIL TIME COULD REACH 20 DAYS, NEW VIDEO OF VICTIM AND MORE
While most Americans fired up their grill and watched explosions in the sky yesterday, Randy Blythe continued to rot in a Czech jail cell. At least he’s passing the time by learning Mongolian from his Mongol cellmate. And he reportedly hasn’t complained at all about his situation. What a mensch.
Here are some other updates:
- Lamb of God manager Larry Mazer revealed in an interview with Blesk.cz that it may take up to 20 days for Randy to be released because “the investigator may require more time to investigate the case.” Isn’t the whole idea of posting bail that you’re released immediately and then tried later? This is crazy and reeks a shakedown.
- The Czech police supposedly contacted “the American authorities” about the incident for which Blythe is being tried, but the band and their management never heard anything.
- Czech network Prima TV released a 3-minute video report on the incident that shows photos of victim Daniel N. and video footage of his own band. Watch below:
