Bummer news from the Facebook page of super-great death-grind killers Clinging to the Trees of a Forest Fire:
“Hi. A wheel bearing seized up, became hot, caught on fire, seperated the wheel from the van and caught our van as well as a neighboring field on fire. We are playing in Boise tonight at the shredder. We towed the van to the club. If any of you Boise people could come out, that would be great. Also, if anyone feels like donating to our ‘get home’ fund please send money to [email protected] via pay pal. Our merch store is also working. we are out of shirts and nesseria split records but we have other stuff. Please help because until we make 800 dollars, we are stuck here indefinitely. Thanks!”
There are certainly worse places to be stranded — like in New Jersey — but this is obviously still a shitty situation. Do like they say and make a contribution to help get these fellas back on the road again.
