BORN OF OSIRIS COVER SYSTEM OF A DOWN’S “SCIENCE”

GREAT NEWS, EVERYONE!!! I’m back from vacation!!! Of course, you may not have known I was gone, since I left a sprinkling of posts behind for Vince to publish in my absence. But I was. I was at an anti-rehab facility at an undisclosed location in Mexico, where they basically feed you nothing but weed, booze, and Pop Tarts for several days straight, to ensure that you never adopt the clean, healthy lifestyle that leads to total fucking garbage like St. Anger. PHEW!

Oh, yeah, also, this: Born of Osiris have covered System of a Down’s Toxicity tune, “Science.” Which I guess is a nice change from their usual covers of Meshuggah. In all fairness to BOO, they have managed to make the song their own, which is to say that the guitars have been djented up, and Serj Tankian’s inimitable vocals have been replaced by generic DM screaming. Just what the world needed.

So that happened.
