ANIMALS AS LEADERS REUNITED WITH CAR, ONE GUITAR
Animals as Leaders have suffered a spate of horrible luck recently, what between the loss of drummer Navene Koperweis to Japanese confection-inspired electronic music, being assaulted by the Boston Police Department, and, just this past weekend, the theft of Javier Reyes’ car and several of the group’s guitars. But it looks as though the band’s luck might be about to change, if this official statement guitarist Tosin Abasi posted on Facebook is any indication:
“Hey everyone.
“We’ve actually got some good news to report! The LAPD successfully recovered Javier’s car. The even better news is that one of the stolen guitars was in the back seat! I’m now reunited with Strandberg #17.
“We want to commend the LAPD for their ability to find the stolen vehicle within 24 hours of receiving the police report. Hopefully this is the key to finding the rest of the guitars! Something still may pop up online so please keep your eyes open. Thanks for all of the support.
“We love you all : )
“Tosin”
There’s not very much to be added to that sentiment, other than encouraging you to do like the man says and keep your eyes peeled for the rest of the stolen goods. You can see photos of the missing gear here, and send any info you may have to animalsgear AT gmail DOT com.
