“THE INEVITABLE DEGRADATION” OF NILE

I’ve been a busy little bee, so I haven’t found time to sit down and listen to all of the new Nile albm, At the Gate of Sethu. But what I’ve heard thus far I’ve dug, and I certainly dig this:

If you go to the Nuclear Blast store and click on one of the pre-order pages you can listen to a stream of a new song from the album entitled “The Inevitable Degradation of the Flesh.” (Fret not: you don’t actually need to pre-order the album to hear the song, you just need to go to the pre-order page.) In addition to some typically cool Karl Sanders fretwork, there’s a pretty unique elephants marching something… it’s kinda like, I dunno, elephants marching on wobbly legs? In any case, I’m into it!
