INTO ETERNITY ANNOUNCE U.S. SUMMER TOUR DATES

I’ve yet to read any live reports about how Into Eternity sound with new touring vocalist Amanda Kiernan, the lady they’ve tapped to fill in for Stu Block while he tours with Iced Earth. They played just four shows with Kiernan in Canada this past February — maybe kind of a trial run? — but they’re about to go full bore with a string of tour dates this August, with Single Bullet Theory and Riksha along for the ride.

MS reader Matt sent us a link to Into Eternity’s official website (of all places!) which lists almost three weeks of dates in the U.S. (with a brief Canada stint in Montreal and Toronto). For any Block devotees hoping he’d somehow be able to play with IE on this tour; it’s not to be: Iced Earth will be festivaling it up in Europe during that time period. I’m curious to see how Kiernan does and how the fans embrace her, but Tim Roth and co. have high standards and I’m sure they know what they’re doing. And holy shit, they’re playing Saint Vitus in Brooklyn! That show’s gonna be incredible.
