CONCLUDE YOUR DAY WITH ONE OF THE LAST NASUM PERFORMANCES EVER
Tomorrow, Nasum will play their last North American show ever, which may be, if I’m not mistaken, also their last show ever ever. This is, of course, horrible news; Nasum are great, and at the time that their vocalist, Mieszko Talarczyk, tragically died in the the 2004 Asian tsunami, it seemed as though they still had a very, very bright future ahead of them.
If you didn’t get to see one of the recent shows on their farewell tour — which featured Rotten Sound’s Keijo Niinimaa (and, in one instance, Converge’s Jacob Bannon) in Talarczyk’s place — then here’s the next best thing: some footage that our number one brahs at Metal Injection of the band performing at this past weekend’s Maryland Deathfest. Unfortunately, it’s not multi-cam, so I can’t tell if the crowd is going as ape shit as I’d like to think they were — but the band is sure as hell giving it their all. Watch:
If you live in or near Austin, Texas, Nasum are playing Chaos In Tejas tomorrow. DO NOT MISS IT. There’s a ton of other killer bands on the bill, too, including Municipal Waste, Ringworm, Toxic Holocaust, St. Vitus, Ghoul, and Phobia. Get more details here.
