GET A “MONTREAL MIDNIGHT SUPPLY” FROM THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA
Night Flight Orchestra’s Internal Affairs is quickly becoming one of my favorite records of 2012.
The “supergroup” is a dad rock band featuring Soilwork’s Speed Strid and Arch Enemy’s Sharlee D’Angelo, if you weren’t paying attention when I waxed ecstatic a couple of weeks ago. Sounds like a disaster, right? Vrong.
Every single song is a winner! “West Ruth Ave.” is still my favorite, but “Montreal Midnight Supply,” the latest song to be released, is giving it a run for its money in the catchiness department. Stream it below (WARNING: will get stuck in your head):
I’ve now had the opportunity to hear Internal Affairs in full, and it’s every bit as good as I’d hoped it would be. Those versions of “1998” and “California Morning” I posted last week were just old demos, by the way. Pre-order it here before it comes out on June 8th.
