THIS ORCHESTRAL COVER OF CONVERGE’S “DARK HORSE” IS PRETTY SWEET

I just saw (well, heard, really) this orchestral cover of Converge’s Axe to Fall track “Dark Horse” over at Metal Injection, and on the whole, I love it — I mean, it sounds like it could be the score for some kinda-zany gothic pseudo-horror movie, like maybe something Tim Burton would have made before he gave up on life. The only real problem with it is that it was clearly done on some shitty synths so it sounds kinda cheap and crappy. But that hasn’t stopped Cradle of Filth from having a career so whatever I guess.
