SHADOWS FALL GET DOWN WITH EDGAR ALLEN POE FOR “THE UNKNOWN” VIDEO
When I was a kid I was way into the Edgar Allen Poe story “The Pit and The Pendulum,” to the point where I even watched the terrible Lance Henriksen movie version at least three times. (In all fairness to my hormones, it had a lot of nudity in it.) So I’m excited to see the story referenced in Shadows Fall’s new video, for the song “The Unknown,” which originally premiered right here on MetalSucks.
That being said, I’m not entirely sure what the connection is between the song and the story. But I am entirely sure that I wish the video were in 3D. How great would it be if it seemed like Brain Fair’s dreadlocks were really flying at you? SCARY!
“The Unknown” appears on Shadows Fall’s new album, Fire in the Sky, which comes out May 15. Another new tune from the record, “Save Your Soul,” is now streaming over at Metal Insider.
