SIX FEET UNDER ARE “FROZEN AT THE MOMENT OF DEATH”
I can’t understand what Chris Barnes is saying in “Frozen at the Moment of Death” nearly well enough to know if the song is about rigor mortis or just freezing to death or what. But I do speak the international language of headbanging, and the song makes my neck hurt. That’s a compliment. It’s the first cut on Six Feet Under’s new album, Undead, and an excellent way to announce that this is not going to be your typical SFU album.
Now the track is streaming here, so you can listen for yourself and share my neck pain. And maybe even try to decipher the lyrics? I think at one point I heard Barnes bellow something about T-Pain, but that’s probably not correct.
Undead comes out May 22 via Metal Blade. In June, the band goes on tour with Dying Fetus and Revocation; you can get dates here. And if you haven’t already, read our new interview with the legendary Barnes here.
