KREATOR ARE THE “PHANTOM ANTICHRIST” OF THRASH

I know some folks who claim Kreator should be the fifth band included if the Big Four of Thrash were expanded to be the Big Five. No disrespect meant towards Kreator — they’re a great band and they’ve been doing it forever with remarkable consistency — but I’d have to think you’d consider Exodus, Testament or Sepultura before Kreator, simply because they’re all so much more popular (at least in the U.S.). I could definitely hear an argument for Kreator being included in the Big Eight, but Big Five… I dunno.

Ponder who you think should be included in The Big Five as you watch Kreator’s new video for “Phantom Antichrist.” Hooray for post-apocalyptic city CGI!
