WATCH THE TRAILER FOR GOJIRA’S NEW LIVE DVD, THE FLESH ALIVE

When it rains, it pours! While we await the release of Gojira’s new album, L’Enfant Sauvage, with such eagerness that we can barely stand it, here comes news of more Gojirawesomeness: The Flesh Alive, a new Blu-ray/DVD (whichever you prefer, obvs) which will not only chronicle the making of the best album of 2008, The Way of All Flesh, but will also capture the band in all their live glory while touring in support of that release.

You can watch a trailer below. I’m hoping that the final product is less visually spastic than what we see here; I appreciate a certain amount of visual flair, but Gojira in concert is such an orgasmic experience that it doesn’t really need to be diluted with too many bells and whistles.

The Flesh Alive comes out July 31 via Mascot Records; you can pre-order it here. By that time, not only will L’Enfant Sauvage be out, but hopefully we’ll have news of a Gojira tour, too.
