REFUSED ARE F*CKING BACK!

I had so much fun at Refused’s reunion show at Terminal 5 on Monday night that apparently, when writing up yesterday’s Shadows Fall track premiere, I accidentally tagged the post with “Refused” instead of “Shadows Fall.” Whoops! Thank Axl for catching that one before it went up [inb4 “you guys make worse typos all the time” comments].

It’s hard to put into words how much fun the show was, but Metal Injection’s Frank Godla — who’s been a Refused fan for way longer than I have — has done a stellar job reviewing not only show at the 3,000-capacity Terminal 5, but a secret after-show Refused played at the tiny, 100-cap DIY venue The Acheron in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Read that review and watch some live footage from both shows. I’ve never seen Terminal 5 so raucous and out of control; the entire place was one gigantic mosh pit that was impossible to avoid, so I rolled with it and got good and sweaty. I opted not to make the trek out to Bushwick, but those who did report absolute insanity, and the videos back up that claim.
