STILL BETTER THAN THE DEVASTATED: LIL’ TYKES COVER RAMMSTEIN’S “SONNE”

I have to assume that the parents or legal guardians of the children in the below video, who ages range from five to ten, are kinda nutty. Why else  form them into a group called the Children Medieval Band, a name which seems to suggest little kids playing on lutes and hirtenschalmeis, despite the fact that they play rock music? And, perhaps more pressingly, why have them cover Rammstein’s “Sonne?” It’s not as though when you think “kid friendly,” you think of Rammstein, y’know?

In any case, you should watch this video. It’s entertaining, and the kids still sound better than at least five professionally created albums I’ve heard this year.

These adorable little ones apparently learned the song via the use of EarPower, a software program that does exactly what you think it would do — teaches people to mimic shit by ear. I guess that’s also kind of interesting.
