Vince named 7 Horns 7 Eyes’ Throes of Absolution as his pick for 2012 album that will fuck your face off, and it was a good pick, too, ’cause the album is most certainly a face-fucker-offer (stream the track “Divine Amnesty” here if you doubt me). And while we haven’t gotten to see the band live yet, we obviously have high hopes. If nothing else, it’s hard to imagine these dudes can’t really play — after all, guitarist Aaron Smith produced Jeff Loomis’ awesome new album, Plains of Oblivion, and it’s hard to image Loomis working with someone who has no chops.

So. 7 Horns 7 Eyes have now announced a brief tour with Stealing Axion, to kick off in May. I don’t know Stealing Axion so I can’t vouch for them, but if this thing was coming anywhere near New York, I’d go just to check out 7H7E alone.
