“PROPHECY OF THE LAZER WITCH”: NEW SONG FROM BRENDON SMALL’S GALAKTIKON IS LIKE WHOA

Brendon Small’s Galaktikon (Can we just start referring to it as “Galaktikon” from now on? We can? Okay cool.) has released another new song, “Prophecy of the Lazer Witch,” and I think it’s the catchiest one yet.

People who accuse me of hating all clean vocals in metal should take note — I think what Small does here is great. Except for a couple places where it’s obviously being done for effect, Small never sounds like a computer. And though it may seem like a weird comparison to make, the harmonizing during the chorus reminds me of vintage Van Halen. Killer.
