THE COVER ART FOR THE MASTODON/FEIST SPLIT 7″ IS A COLLAGE OF CRAZINESS

In case ya hadn’t heard, for this year’s Record Store Day, Mastodon and Feist will be releasing a split 7″ on which the Mastodudes will cover Feist’s “A Commotion,” while the Canadian chanteuse will cover Mastodon’s “Black Tongue.” Now the cover art for the split — appropriately entitled Feistodon — has been released, and I’m really digging the DIY, homemade feel, even though there’s really nothing DIY about this project, and I’m sure it had to go through a bajillion different people to get approved.
